I am thrilled to announce that in 2025, Pioneers Hub will once again support the organization and execution of the PyCon DE & PyData conference. This time, we’ll meet from April 23 to April 25, 2025, in Darmstadt, a city perfectly suited for science and innovation. For me, this conference is always one of the highlights of the year—not just because it showcases the latest developments in the Python and data communities, but because it brings together people who are as passionate about technology, knowledge, and community as I am.
Sharing Knowledge Together – For a Better Future
Sharing knowledge and connecting people—this is at the core of what we do every day at Pioneers Hub, and it’s exactly why we are proud partners of this conference. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to fostering innovation and creating synergies. PyCon DE & PyData is a perfect example of this mission in action.
This year, I want to emphasize our strong focus on scientific collaboration. We’re working to bring in more academics and researchers to share their expertise at the conference. Python has evolved far beyond being a tool for developers—it has become a bridge between research, industry, and technology.
Diversity and Inclusion – A True Priority
Diversity and inclusion are topics that are close to my heart. Technology is for everyone, and this must also be reflected in a conference like PyCon DE & PyData. It’s not just about what’s on the slides; it’s about who’s on stage—and who’s sitting in the audience.
That’s why we’re working even more closely this year with groups like PyLadies and other initiatives that promote diversity in the tech world. But it’s not just lip service: we’re ensuring that the conference is a space where everyone truly feels welcome—regardless of their background, gender, experience, or origin.
Our Strong Partners: Python Software Verband e.V. and NumFOCUS
Together with our fantastic partners, the Python Software Verband e.V. and the nonprofit foundation NumFOCUS, we are laying the groundwork to make PyCon DE & PyData not just a conference but an unforgettable experience. These partnerships go beyond organizational support—they are proof of what’s possible when people with shared values come together to collaborate.
