Education and learning should be accessible to everyone – especially to the next generation. That’s why Pioneers Hub, together with the Python Software Verband, supported the "Free Remote Tickets for Students" initiative at PyCon DE & PyData 2025.

Through a simple application process, we enabled 267 students to attend Germany’s leading community conference for AI, data science, and open source – completely free and remotely. This initiative reflects one of Pioneers Hub’s core missions: promoting free access to education and empowering students.

Why We Support Free Participation

In fast-moving fields like AI, data science, and open source, it is crucial to involve young talents early on. With free access, we aim to:

  • Lower barriers to cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
  • Create opportunities for students to connect with the global community.
  • Open new perspectives for academic and professional growth.

How the Selection Process Worked

Students could apply through a simple online form. Our team reviewed applications based on enrollment status and motivation, and after approval, issued free remote access tickets. Our goal was to enable as many motivated students as possible – with minimal bureaucracy.

Students from Around the World

Students from more than 100 universities around the world took advantage of this opportunity, including renowned institutions such as Technische Universität Darmstadt, RWTH Aachen University, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Freie Universität Berlin, Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Tübingen, Hochschule Darmstadt, American University of Armenia, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and University of Stuttgart.

Shaping the Future Together

The fact that 267 students took advantage of this opportunity shows the huge demand and enthusiasm for open access to education. At Pioneers Hub, we believe that innovation thrives where knowledge is shared.
We are proud to support such initiatives and invite everyone to join us in building this future together.

Knowledge for all – that's the future we are building.
